Five-star work, every time

“Gero did a fantastic job laying our harlequin kitchen tiles. It was a small space and he clearly communicated on different options to agree what we wanted. His work was beautiful and has given the room a really professional finish.”

“Gero is an absolute hero. Our bathroom / wet room was in a terrible state after a bad team came in and ended up making a mess of it. Gero spent so much time making it right, having to strip it all back to the beginning and start again. It was a lot of unexpected work for him, but he worked over time to make it happen and it’s all been done beautifully. Thank you Gero!!!”

“Bathroom tiling in a loft coversion: During quotation stage Gero has been very promp to respond to my enquiry on WhatsApp. He followed by visiting our home and discussing our requirements, gave valuable advise re tile sizes, trim options, what to consider when selecting and shortly after provided a competitive price for his work. We have selected Gero, because we needed someone, who is not just sticking tiles to the wall, but also has a taste and vision what may work and what not and help us to make a better/informed decision when choosing tiles, deciding on best layout for the bathroom configuration and taking care of other details. Plus: he uses back battering tiling technique as standard! Outcome: everything has been done as agreed, feedback taken into account, tiles back-buterred as advertised, dust kept to the minimum, cleaned every day before leaving (we did not have to do much after the work was done, which is very rare). Final result (see photo, internal corners not sealed yet): fantastic looking bathroom, excelent layout, 600x1200mm porcelain tiles make our small bathroom bigger and spacious. Tiles are perfectly aligned and levelled, grout thickness and surface texture are consistent, perfectly blending in with the tiles. We don't leave in a castle, but his work elevated the bathroom to that level. Thank you and well done Gero!”

“Gero from Tile in progress has recently done an amazing job on our hallway floor. Our Hallway was in desperate need of some TLC and a new floor. Gero kindly squeezed us in and has transformed our entrance. We went for a Victorian check tile and left space for an integrated door Matt. Tidy, reliable and skilled - he’s done such a good job. Quality workmanship and no cutting corners on prep. Would recommend, we will definitely be calling next time we have a project! Thanks Gero.”

“Such an amazing experience using Tile in Progress. They did a phenomenal job on the flooring, with a high-quality finish and really neat work throughout. There were a couple of unexpected issues during the job, but they were dealt with quickly and without any fuss. Communication was good, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Friendly, polite, and attentive throughout. Would definitely recommend Tile in Progress and use them again.”

“Gero and Valentino have been INCREDIBLE. There aren’t enough words to describe how great they’ve been. Firstly, we are so pleased with the end result. Our tiles look AMAZING - they care about the detail and I feel like we’ve found the best in the business! They worked so quickly and efficiently - we are blown away by the quality job they’ve done in such a short time. Their price was very reasonable, communication was great, they were very tidy and respectful, we couldn’t recommend using them enough. We will 1000000% be using them again to do our tiling outside and would encourage everyone to choose Tile In Progress!! You really won’t regret it. Thanks so much both for helping transform our home.”

“Gero he’s not a Tiler he’s an artist I wanted diamond shape pattern in my hallway and bathroom which are very small nobody but gero was willing to do it because it is very difficult and very time-consuming Not only did he managed to do the job, but he reinforced my floor to make sure that the tiles would never crack. Gero he’s very tidy cleans up after himself every night did the work in a good timely manner and reasonably affordable I would not hesitate in username again The project came out Better than I expected, and that’s all thanks to gero”

“We are so happy with our beautiful new path. We’ve had so many compliments and it has transformed the front of our house. Gero was a pleasure to have around. He is so talented and skilled in his profession and more of an artist than a tiler. We will definitely book him again for future projects and have already recommended him to our friends and neighbours.”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with an extraordinary team of tilers who truly elevated their craft to an art form. Their impeccable attention to detail and creative prowess turned our project into a stunning masterpiece. From the intricate designs seamlessly integrated into every surface to the remarkable feat of tiling our company logo onto the counter front, their skill and dedication set them apart. The tilers not only met deadlines with professionalism but also communicated effectively, ensuring a smooth and collaborative process. If you’re seeking unparalleled craftsmanship and artistic vision for your tiling project, this team comes highly recommended for their ability to transform spaces into works of art.”

“I’d been give Gero’s details by ‘Claybrook Tiles’, and I’m so grateful. Gero was quick to reply to me and give me a quote, and fitted our job in between his larger jobs. His work is meticulous, and to a high standard. He tiled two Victorian fireplace surrounds for us, and I’m so happy with theresults. He even noticed our path was broken, and fixed that for us too without charge. I’d highly recommend him.”

“We are so happy with the tiling job Gero completed on our bathroom. From the outset he understood what we wanted to achieve and gave very helpful advice on the best way to go about it. He worked very quickly and professionally, even making friends with our dog (who doesn’t love visiting tradesmen!!). Gero worked over the weekend to get our job completed as quickly as possible and the outcome is perfect. Would recommend to anyone!”

“I could not be happier with the front path Gero completed for me and my family. In all honesty, he has far exceeded what I was expecting, from sourcing a more reasonably priced piece of marble to turning up to finish the job on a Sunday. The list is endless. His attention to detail is second to none. He is a real testament to his trade and a true artist. People are literally stopping and staring at our path as they walk past. Highly recommended!”

“Gero and Valentino where great - quoted on a Saturday and arrived the following Saturday at 8am sharp. Lots of little jobs and a new kitchen splashback and all done with a smile a genuine desire to please us the customer. Would highly recommend!”

“Gero was punctual, professional and the attention to detail was second to none. He replaced the tiles to the entrance of our house and I couldn’t be happier.”

“Beautiful, high quality tiling. Would highly recommend.”

“Booked Gero to replace a glass splash back in kitchen with tiles. I wasn’t sure what I wanted at the time but he is very creative and came up with a design to match the rest of kitchen/diner. He brought me samples. He did a fantastic herringbone design and I liked it so much ended up extended it to another wall. He is a very fast and efficient worker and very tidy. Job was done in record speed time and perfectly too. I would definitely use him again!”

“Gero created and styled our bathroom and we're over the moon with it. His attention to detail, creativity and work ethics show through his tiling. Would highly recommend him.”

“Extremely pleased with our new hallway, bathroom, toilet and kitchen floors. Absolutely superb !!! Gero, is a true craftsman who takes the greatest of care in his work. He places his tiles before applying adhesive. Patterns and lines are matched carefully. This is a tiler from a family of builders who has a passion for his work, is a perfectionist and very clean.”

“My small bathroom presented a number of challenges due to its original feature arch over the bath. Gero helped me pick out the tiles, and worked to transform a tiny dark room into a relaxing paradise that fills me with joy every time I enter it. Gero is an artist and a perfectionist at that. He worked really hard to achieve a quality finish that has led a number of other trade professionals to ask me for his details. Won’t ever go to another tile guy!!”

“Gero at Tile in Progress did a fantastic job for us and we'd highly recommend him for anyone looking for a quality tiler. He came to remedy a job that had been done terribly by another tiler which involved a full re-tile of Fired Earth, crackle-glazed herringbone tiles. Gero is friendly, highly professional, arrives on time, works his socks off and leaves things clean and tidy at the end of the day. He is also a perfectionist and wants to do the best he can on any job. I wish there were more people out there who had both his skill and work ethic. First class!”

“Gero did a great job of tiling our kitchen floor and we're extremely happy with the result. First he had to level the existing cracked concrete surface but the whole job was completed in a couple of days. Highly professional, courteous, punctual and pleasant to deal with. Talked us through choice of grout colour etc and advised helpfully. Would definitely contact again for any more tiling projects.”

“Fantastic service provided by Tile in Progress. The quality and standard of this companies work is incredible. I contacted them at short notice to help tile my bathroom and they turned up the next day to do the job. Very polite and one thing that I found was exceptional compared to other traders I've had on my property is how tidy the house was left everyday and the level of cleaning Amazing service and would reccomend 5 star!”

“Gero has done a fantastic job with our bathroom tiles - both floor and wall. He was quick, efficient and communicative throughout - we were not on site so he was able to regularly send us photos to check we were happy with everything. The result was excellent!”

“Tile In Progress recently did the floor and wall tiling in my bathroom as part of a larger renovation. All the standards you would expect were top-notch, courtesy, professionalism, friendliness and tidiness, but what really impressed me was they actually do love tiling! Gero was very focused and a blur of activity while working, it was quite inspiring to watch someone who really enjoys what they do and cares passionately about the quality of the results. Apart from the excellence of the work, I was also talked through, consulted and advised at each stage as progress was made. Would definitely recommend.”
